About this site

Peleliu Cut, also called Peleliu Corner, is a wall dive on Peleliu in Palau and the most famous dive there. Depth runs from 10 metres to 30 metres and beyond, with visibility of 30 to 50 metres and more. Advanced Open Water and nitrox are recommended, along with a reef hook.

Powerful currents bring in bull sharks, whale sharks, tiger sharks and even sperm whales. Divers hook in at the plateau to watch tuna, sailfish, barracuda and dense walls of butterflyfish.

The current ranges from moderate to extreme, and down-currents are common and can be dangerous. Stay close to your guide and carry a surface marker buoy.
