Pinnacle 1 is a dive site on a mountain rising from the sea bed, with terrain that ranges from wall to slope. It is rated beginner, with a light current and great visibility, and the water temperature runs from 26 to 30°C. The warmer months of March to June are the season noted for diving here.
The amount of fish is the main draw, especially at the Northern Tip, where huge swarms pass by throughout the dive. Large schools of jacks often circle the site, and eagle rays are a common sight on the Eastern Wall. Divers also see Spanish mackerel, wahoo, Napoleon wrasse, reef sharks, green and hawksbill turtles, great barracudas, bumphead parrotfish and giant groupers.
