About this site

Sabang Wreck is a sunken tugboat sitting upright at 14 metres, located in a bay of Sabang, Pulau Weh. The wreck rests on the bottom surrounded by a small reef, making it an easy introduction to wreck diving suitable for beginners.

The site is well regarded as a macro dive, with pipefish, peacock mantis shrimp, scorpionfish, and sweepers present around the wreck, along with a resident giant moray eel. Ghost pipefish are sighted frequently here.
