The Sayonara Wreck is a sunken vessel dive site in Belize, offering wreck diving as an alternative to the reef and cave sites found elsewhere along Belize's roughly 300-kilometre reef system.
The wreck sits at a maximum depth of 15.2 m, making it a relatively shallow wreck dive with a bottom type that is the structure itself. The deteriorating hull creates compartments and cavities that shelter a variety of marine life, though divers should be aware that the structure is in an advanced state of decay and that disturbing sediment inside is a genuine hazard.
Marine life on the Sayonara includes banded coral shrimp, spiny lobsters, and brittle stars sheltering within the wreck's recesses, alongside stoplight parrotfish, French angelfish, queen angelfish, and large ocean triggerfish moving around the exterior. Reef fish are present throughout, and potato cod, clownfish, and sea snakes have also been recorded at the site.
The site is rated intermediate in difficulty, suited to certified divers with some experience, particularly given the hazards posed by the deteriorating structure and sedimentation inside the wreck.
