About this site
Schnellboot is a World War II wreck, known as Schnellboot S31, lying next to Valletta, Malta. Boats of the Schnellboot series were used to sneak into enemy harbours and torpedo ships or lay mines.
The wreck rests at about 67 metres, and the site is graded technical. It is classed as a historical wreck and is treated as a war grave, so it is a place to be approached with respect.
