Seal Rock lies in False Bay, about a 25-minute boat ride along the Cape Peninsula, and is a natural gathering place for Cape fur seals. The water is cool.
In the sheltered, shallow areas close to the rock the seals dart and play around swimmers, while the deeper sections further out offer more of their underwater world. The site is protected, with no current to speak of.
