Isola Molara sits off the northeastern coast of Sardinia, near Olbia, within the waters of the Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo marine protected area. Secca Di Punta Levante refers to a submerged rocky shoal off the eastern point of the island, in the granite-bottomed waters typical of this stretch of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Boats reaching the site usually depart from the Olbia area or nearby coastal towns. Divers here have reported Mediterranean rainbow wrasse, ornate wrasse, and painted comber moving over the rock, along with sunset cup coral, violescent sea whip, yellow cluster anemone, and both yellow and white gorgonians decorating the formations.
