Soyak Island is an island reef site located around Soyak Island, part of the Tioman Island area, where divers explore the reef surrounding the island with a guide who selects a route suited to current conditions and each diver's background.
The reef reaches a maximum depth of 28 metres, with an 800-metre deep wall among its terrain features. Strong currents are a known hazard at this site, and the best diving season runs from July through September.
Marine life at Soyak Island includes sea turtles, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, manta rays, barracudas, nudibranchs, tropical reef fish, and both soft and hard corals.
The site is considered suitable for beginner divers, though the strong currents and deep wall mean diving with a guide who can read the conditions is important. Visibility is rated as great.
