Terraces is a reef dive site in Tubbataha, the Philippines, characterised by a stepped structure that begins with a coral garden at the top before dropping to a shelf at 70 feet (21 metres), which then plunges into deep water below.
The top level holds what is considered the most beautiful coral garden in Tubbataha. The shelf at 70 feet (21 metres) provides a distinct mid-water platform before the reef wall descends beyond recreational depths, giving the site a layered, terrace-like profile with a maximum depth of 20 metres on the shelf itself.
The shelf is a productive zone for marine life, with schools of baby parrotfish, rays, and both hawksbill and green turtles regularly encountered there. Soft coral and reef fish are also present throughout the site.
