The Cathedral is a wall dive in the Pantar Strait off Alor in Indonesia. A wall cut by overhangs and a cave-like recess gives the site its name.
Soft corals and sea fans grow in the shade, and schooling fish gather along the edge. Light beams through the openings in the late morning. The current is usually moderate and the dive suits anyone who is comfortable on a wall.
