The Pinnacle sits off Mallorca's northeastern coast in the Balearic Islands, in the western Mediterranean, and is reached by boat from the coastal towns along that shore. As its name suggests, the site is built around a rocky underwater formation typical of the island's limestone coastline. Divers here have reported long-snouted seahorses and painted combers moving among the rock, along with Mediterranean red coral, violescent sea whips, and yellow and white gorgonians decorating the structure.
