The Solør lies off the Gower Peninsula, on the south Wales coast west of Swansea, in the waters between Swansea Bay and Carmarthen Bay. This stretch of coastline is lined with rocky headlands and reefs that have claimed numerous vessels over the years, and the surrounding waters are subject to some of the strongest tidal ranges in Britain. Divers here have reported common dragonet, small-spotted catshark, and thornback skate around the site.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
