WIT Shoal II is a 190-foot cargo ship resting upright on the seafloor near St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, deliberately sunk in 1984 as an artificial reef. The wreck sits at 90 feet (27 metres) with the wheelhouse rising to 60 feet (18 metres), offering significant vertical relief across the hull. Swim-throughs and open holds are accessible throughout the structure.
The wreck hosts barracuda, jacks, and angelfish, and the broader structure attracts abundant fish life. Visibility at the site runs 60–100 feet (18–30 metres) year-round, with the clearest conditions typically occurring between January and June.
The site is reached by boat, with charters departing from Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie and reaching the wreck as part of a typical morning two-tank run. Penetration of the holds and interior is possible, and the depth and wreck complexity make this site suited to advanced divers.
