About this site

Yellow Corner is a wall dive located at the edge of Naru Wall near Gizo, in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands. It is an extension of that barrier reef system and is distinguished by a striking knoll covered in rare yellow soft corals found nowhere else in Gizo, set against large staghorn coral formations.

The site is a boat dive, and all dives in the Gizo area are conducted from a boat. Water temperature averages 28°C and visibility often exceeds 20 metres.

Yellow Corner is best dived when a current is running, and that current can be variable and strong. The site suits experienced divers and is considered advanced; the combination of wall terrain and unpredictable current demands solid dive skills and buoyancy control.
