Current Cut is a drift dive site in the Bahamas, described as the most famous drift dive of its kind, running through a cut with strong tidal flow that carries divers at 7 to 10 knots. The bottom varies between 30 feet (9 m) and 65 feet (20 m) across mixed terrain that includes both reef and scattered wreckage. The current is strong enough that most divers can complete three ten-minute runs on a single tank.
The site hosts an array of unusual fish species drawn to the high-flow environment, along with wreckage on the bottom to investigate between runs.
