Dhe Gaa Thila is a thila, a submerged reef pinnacle, in Baa Atoll on the western side of the Maldivian archipelago. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its channels and reef formations that draw boat traffic from resorts and liveaboards throughout the atoll. Divers have also reported manta rays passing over the pinnacle, along with Napoleon wrasse and redlip parrotfish. The reef holds smaller residents too, including blackfin anemonefish, blacksaddle tobies, bluestriped and midnight snapper, red-tailed butterflyfish, small giant clams, spotted linckia starfish, and tawny hermit crabs.
