Glen Nusa is an artificial wreck dive site located north-west of Gili Trawangan. The Glen Nusa was a cargo boat deliberately sunk at the beginning of 2016 for the purpose of creating a dedicated wreck dive site.
The reef slopes down to 30 metres where the wreck sits, with the dive covering a depth range of 20–30 metres (maximum verified depth 28.6 m). The wreck can be explored both inside and out.
The site attracts big Triggerfish, Snappers, Angelfish, and Humphead Parrotfish around the wreck structure.
Glen Nusa is rated for advanced divers only and typically carries strong current. Its offshore location, depth, and the absence of surface markers add to the challenge. Calm sea conditions are required before diving here. The current frequently brings in larger animals and makes the site well suited to drift diving, while the depth also makes it appropriate for NITROX dives.
