Gota Abu Ramada is a reef near Hurghada nicknamed The Aquarium, because it has the densest, most riotous fish life of any easy reef in the area. The maximum depth is about 14 m and visibility is about 25 m, so it suits beginners and is the first dive photographers ask for.
The water is around 28 C. Currents can run strong in open water, and triggerfish can turn aggressive in September.
