About this site
House Reef is a shore-entry reef dive site located directly in front of Murex Manado resort, accessible from the beach without the need for a boat. Divers and snorkellers can enter the water and reach the reef with ease, using the mooring line as a reference point during the dive.
The reef is particularly well known as a night dive destination, where Spanish Dancers appear regularly near the mooring line and have become a reliable sighting at nearly every night dive. Decorator crabs and a variety of other critters are also found on the reef, while dugongs have been recorded in the area.
Conditions at the site feature light current and good visibility, making it accessible to a wide range of divers. The best seasons to visit are March and September.
