Kanawa is an island reef in the Labuan Bajo area of Indonesia, known for a very pretty beach and coral reef. Small fish are easy to see from the shallows, so it works for snorkelling as well as diving. Visibility is good and the site suits beginners.
The coral gardens hold hard corals, pygmy seahorses, snapper, batfish, lionfish, glassfish, grouper, moray eels, Napoleon wrasse and turtles.
