Lobster Wall is a vertical wall on the western reef of Mabul Island in Sabah, Malaysia, and for many divers it is the best dive the area has. The wall is full of nooks and crannies, and the depth runs from about 25 to 40 m (82 to 131 ft).
Lobsters, seahorses and stonefish hide in the cracks, so watch where you put your hands. Clownfish, boxfish, triggerfish and ghost pipefish are all worth looking for, and sea fans and nudibranchs decorate the wall, with soldierfish and squirrelfish around it.
Visibility is up to 20 m (66 ft). It is a deep wall, so watch your depth and the risk of narcosis, and a light current can run along it.
