Nave Capua lies off Castellammare del Golfo, on the northwest coast of Sicily in the province of Trapani, where the town's gulf opens onto the Tyrrhenian Sea. The site takes its name from a sunken vessel resting in these waters, with the harbor serving as the usual departure point for boats heading out along this stretch of coastline. Divers here have also reported Mediterranean damselfish and ornate wrasse around the site.
