Oakland Ridges is a ledge reef marked by a series of 15 mooring buoys, in 18-28 feet (5.5 to 8.5 metres) of water. The ledge has several caves and crevices.
It is a good reef for fish spotting. Glassy sweepers and snook gather under the ledges, while yellowhead jawfish and blennies can be found in the sand. Hall of Fame Reef, another shallow series of ledges, lies just to the north.
