Reethi Thila is a pinnacle dive in Raa Atoll, in the north east of the You and Me resort area and close to Fuggiri island in the channel. Reethi means beautiful in Divehi and thila means pinnacle. It is about 35 minutes by boat from the resort.
The top of the thila starts at 6 to 7 metres, and the side facing the channel drops to 30 metres. The reef carries many overhangs and coral blocks, with sea fans, cable coral, gorgonians, soft corals and stamp corals.
Marine life includes grey reef sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, schools of batfish, groups of humpback snappers, lobsters, napoleon wrasse, silver jacks and hawksbill turtles. During manta season it is possible to see mantas on the thila.
The site is described as suitable for all levels, and especially for Advanced Open Water divers, given the 30 metre depth on the channel side.
