Ricks Reef is a reef dive at Dahab. It starts around 300 metres north of the Canyon and is normally done as a drift, finishing at the Canyon lagoon.
The dive can be taken to 30 metres but is often kept shallow, riding the mild current along the reef wall to the exit point. It is graded beginner, with a light current, and moray eels are among the animals reported. The shallow reef, colourful marine life and turquoise water make it a good site for underwater photography.
