Sabang Point is a dive site located at Sabang, featuring a series of descending steps or terraced reef structure that drops from a shallowest point of 8 metres down to a maximum depth of around 20 metres. The site is a favourite for spotting large schools of yellow snappers along these stepped formations, and pygmy seahorses are also occasionally found here.
The terrain descends in stages, giving divers plenty of time to explore each level as they go deeper. The site suits beginner divers, with light current under normal conditions, though current can become unpredictable during tidal changes. Visibility is generally good. Water temperature ranges from 27–30 °C through the warmer months and can drop to 19–24 °C between December and mid-March.
Marine life at Sabang Point includes reef mantas, damselfish, batfish, surgeonfish, moray eels, lionfish, frogfish, wrasses, cardinalfish, butterflyfish, gobies, shrimp, cleaner shrimp, mantis shrimp, and scorpionfish. The site also lies within a titan triggerfish nesting area, so divers should give these fish a wide berth, particularly when they are guarding eggs.
The bottom type includes wreck elements — specifically the remains of a sailboat — and divers should take care around sharp objects overhead inside the wreck and avoid hose entanglement. Scorpionfish and stonefish are present and camouflage well, so careful fin and hand placement is important throughout the dive.
