Shark Point is a reef dive site located on the Mombasa North Coast, known as a dedicated shark site with a wide range of marine life across its reef terrain.
The reef runs from 12 to 25 metres, with a maximum depth of 23 metres, making it accessible to all certification levels including beginners. The site features a shallow end notable for seahorses, with deeper sections holding the more prominent shark and large-fish encounters.
Marine life at Shark Point is the main draw: white tip reef sharks are spotted very often, and guitar sharks, electric rays, Napoleon wrasse, grouper, scorpion fish, and whale sharks are all recorded here. The site is best dived between October and April.
