Whale Rock is a reef dive near Praslin in the Seychelles, with depths of 15 to 25 metres, and it is rated intermediate. The site takes its name from the whale sharks that pass through, which are seen from September through November.
Eels, lionfish and reef sharks stay at the rock year-round, whatever the season. Divers have also reported hawksbill turtles and glass fish here.
