Conditions are updated intraday, not stamped once a day — if a site is rough at 8am and eases by afternoon, the verdict changes with it. Each reading carries the time it was computed.
Where does the data come from and is it accurate?
From the Copernicus Marine Service — the EU’s public operational ocean-forecasting system — with per-site tidal prediction and a nearshore physics layer, validated against independent ocean buoys. See our methodology for exactly how it works and how we measure accuracy.
Can I use it to decide whether it’s safe to dive right now?
