La Caleta is a shore dive on Tenerife that follows a coastal wall to a drop-off. Depths run from 2 to about 40 m. At around 35 m is the entrance to a big cave, a single large room with an entrance as wide as the cave itself, which makes it easy and safe to explore.
Moray eels, stingrays, nudibranchs, shrimps and barracuda live here. The site is rated for advanced divers and is only diveable when the sea is calm, which means the north-east wind must not be too strong.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
