La Vesse is a rocky shoreline snorkelling site near Niolon, on the Côte Bleue west of Marseille, reachable on foot from Niolon village in a few minutes' walk from the harbour.
The site is suited to snorkelling from the surface with mask, snorkel, and fins; no certification or booking is required to use the open shoreline. The verified difficulty rating is beginner, the bottom is rock, and the site is protected in calm sea conditions. Scuba diving is not mentioned as permitted here, and scuba diving is banned within the Marine Park's fully protected zones in this area.
Entry is directly from the rocks with no boat needed; the site works on a calm sea and is not recommended when conditions are rough.
