Elba Island lies off the coast of Tuscany in the Tyrrhenian Sea, within the Province of Livorno, and this site sits in the waters surrounding it, reached by boat from one of the island's diving harbors. It centers on the wreck of a Junker aircraft resting on the seabed. Divers have also reported mauve stingers drifting past the site, along with Mediterranean damselfish and yellow gorgonian growing on the structure itself.
