Arida is an 88 ft (27 metre) wreck that began life as a military Landing Craft Infantry (Large), a type designed to deliver soldiers quickly during an amphibious assault. Its exact service history is unknown.
Hurricane Andrew pummelled the wreck in 1992, and the main section now lies almost upside down, collapsed in on itself. It still attracts abundant marine life, and the dive is graded intermediate.
