The Bianca C is a luxury liner wreck off Grenada, known as the Titanic of the Caribbean. It is the largest wreck in the southern Caribbean and Grenada's best known dive.
The liner was about 600 feet (183 metres) long. In 1961 a boiler room explosion in St George's harbour set her on fire, she burned for three days and she was towed out to sea. She sank upright in about 160 feet (50 metres) of water. Two crew members died, and everyone else was rescued. She was built in France in the 1940s as La Marseilles, was torpedoed while being built, and later joined the Costa fleet and took the name Bianca.
The bow is at about 30 metres and the propeller at about 55 metres, and the normal dive profile runs from 30 to 40 metres. From around 30 metres the intact bow comes into view, and divers can continue to the mid-section and the on-deck swimming pool.
The dive is advanced. The current is medium and a free descent is required, and there is risk from deck collapse and metal fatigue.
