About this site
Cedar Pride Wreck is one of the most famous dive sites at Aqaba in Jordan, a sunken cargo ship that blends wreck diving with the beauty of a reef dive. The maximum depth is 25 metres, visibility can reach 30 metres and currents are minimal.
Air pockets inside the wreck let divers explore the ship while surrounded by a wide variety of marine life. Swimming through the ship's corridors brings encounters with lionfish, moray eels and the occasional turtle.
Navigating the wreck and the reef around it takes some experience, so the site is for certified divers. On the deck, sunlight filters down through the water in a mesmerising display.
