Dunas is a shallow dive site suited to beginners and divers in basic training, featuring a small canyon over a sandy seabed at a maximum depth of 9 metres. The confined, sheltered nature of the canyon and the gentle depth make it a popular choice for first dives and training sessions.
The sandy bottom of the canyon provides habitat for turtles, cuttlefish, groupers, and lobsters, all of which are regularly encountered here.
The site is reached by boat with a navigation time of around 15 minutes, and its easy conditions and shallow water make it accessible to complete beginners as well as those working through entry-level certification requirements.
