About this site
Kansas is a soft coral covered bommie in the Namena Marine Reserve, Fiji. The top sits at about 8 to 12 m (26 to 39 ft), the bottom is reef, and the current can be strong. It is rated intermediate.
Top of the bommie. The top is covered in Sinularia soft corals dotted with clownfish and anemone combinations. When the current flows, the corals bloom into a colourful tapestry. The walls of the bommie are covered in pink and purple soft corals, and the site fizzes with fish in the current.
Window. A soft coral filled window at around 10 m (33 ft) is a good place for photography and macro spotting, with nudibranchs and leaf scorpionfish.

Anthias, fusiliers and sweetlips hide in the nooks and crannies. Tuna, reef sharks and Spanish mackerel circle around the bommie.
