LEF1 is a purpose-sunk wreck dive site in the Larnaca region of Cyprus, deployed in 2019 as one of several additions made to the area's diving infrastructure that year. The wreck sits directly alongside a small reef, with two additional smaller reefs behind it connected by a guideline, creating a structured route that lets divers explore both the wreck and natural reef within a single dive. Maximum depth is 13 m, making this a genuinely accessible site for beginner wreck divers.
The compact layout of the wreck and its neighbouring reefs offers varied underwater scenery in a well-contained dive. The site has been developing over recent seasons, with marine life steadily increasing; moray eels, groupers, and rays have all been observed around the area.
LEF1 is well suited to beginner-level divers and anyone wanting relaxed exploration combined with the chance to see Mediterranean reef species alongside wreck structure. Its shallow maximum depth and guideline-connected reef circuit make it an easy site to navigate and photograph.
