About this site
Madi Gaa is a dive inside the North Channel in the Maldives, about 30 minutes by boat from Veligandu. In manta season, from November to April, there is a good chance of seeing manta rays on this dive.
A big coral block sits in 14 m of water, with its top at 10 m, and attracts many species of fish. The best way to dive it is to sit next to the block when the mantas are around and watch them circle. The current is light, and the site suits beginners.
