Marble Arch is a reef dive in the Tofo area, about 7 km from the launch point and a 15 to 20 minute trip. The depth runs from 14 to 19 metres. The site is named after three inter-connected arched swim-throughs that lead out to the far side of a donut-shaped reef, whose walls rise 6 to 8 metres from the sandy bottom.
Schools of snapper, bigeyes and goatfish gather at the entrances to the arches. The corridors and swim-throughs make it an easy place to practise buoyancy control while gliding from one opening to the next.
