Masa Mubarak lies along the Red Sea coast within Qesm Al Qoseir, in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate south of the town of Marsa Alam, where fringing reef structures run close to shore and are typically reached by boat from nearby marinas. The site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 26 metres, rated beginner with light current and great visibility. Dugongs are found here, and divers have also reported Arabian Picasso triggerfish, bluespotted fantail rays, broomtail wrasse, damselfish, freckled hawkfish, fusiliers, Indian bullethead parrotfish, Indian lionfish, Klunzinger's wrasse, manta rays, octopus, pipefish, unicornfish, and white-spotted puffers along the reef.
