Pedrinha is a marine reserve on Santa Maria in the Azores, only 10 minutes by boat from Vila do Porto marina. Several huge boulders hold much of the marine life of the Atlantic, including small nudibranchs and different kinds of crabs.
Barracudas, groupers, several kinds of moray eel and mackerels are seen here. From time to time mobula rays, manta rays and wahoos show up, and the big oceanic sunfish can be seen as well.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
