Punta Berrugo

Punta Berrugo is a reef dive site located off Playa Blanca, on the southern coast of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, accessible by boat. The terrain combines white sand, volcanic rock, a wall, caves and unusual shapes that keep the underwater scenery changing throughout the dive, with a maximum depth of 18 metres.

The site is well suited to beginners and Open Water-level divers, offering a relaxed, varied dive without demanding depth or difficult profiles. The mix of sand patches, rocky formations and wall sections means the dive feels active and interesting from start to finish rather than flat.

Marine life at Punta Berrugo includes rays and eels, which are considered habitual residents to the area and are commonly found sheltering among the sand and rocks. The site also features the remains of a small wreck that has weathered the passage of time on the seabed, adding an additional point of interest to the dive.
