La Salemera is a shore-entry dive site on the east coast of La Palma, situated beside a popular beachside fish restaurant known locally as the Kiosko. The site is described as colourful and is particularly noted for its abundance of yellow sponges across a white sand bottom, with arches found in the very shallow section of the reef.
Entry is from the shore at the beach. The arches are located in the shallow part of the site, making it accessible for a range of divers, and the white sand bottom gives the site an open, bright character.
