Sampiri is a dive site along the coast of northern Sulawesi, near the Bangka Island and Lembeh Strait area of Indonesia, a region facing the Molucca Sea known for muck and macro diving launched from small boats out of nearby villages. Divers have reported Clark's anemonefish and pink skunk anemonefish here, along with blue Linckia sea stars, ornate ghost pipefish and other pipefish, and a range of nudibranchs including dusky Nembrotha and the varicose wart slug. These sightings fit the muck-diving character of the wider Bangka and Lembeh area, where sandy and rubble slopes tend to favor small, camouflaged, and unusual critters over big pelagic action.
