About this site
Stanley Reef is a drift dive inside the outer reef, close to Turtle Rock, with a maximum depth of 12m (40 ft). The reef slopes gently down to its deepest point before the dive returns to shallow water for the safety stop.
Nurse sharks, stingrays, midnight parrotfish, lobster and shrimp are all seen here. At night the midnight parrotfish can be found wedged into holes in the reef in large numbers. Water temperatures run between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius, and divers have also reported fusiliers and snappers.
