Stenapa is a reef dive on Statia, inside the marine park and about 5 minutes away by boat. The reef was created as an artificial reef for fishermen, with multiple structures that bring in marine life of all kinds.
It is a beginner dive with a maximum depth of 20 metres (66ft). Large schools of reef fish and angelfish gather here, garden eels cover the sand as far as the eye can see, and large Caribbean stingrays and pipefish are seen as well.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
