About this site

Sunken Rock is a wall dive off Antigua, and the only known wall dive on the island. The wall drops vertically on the outside of the rock from 2 m to 25 m. The site is close to Indian Creek and Mamora Bay on the windward side of the island, and it is the furthest dive site from base, about 30 minutes by boat.

Depths range from 2 to 25 m or more. The seascape is impressive, with the vertical drop-off on the outside of the rock.

There is a mooring, but the site is exposed, so a drift dive is often planned. Divers should be certified, used to boat diving and confident drifting.

Caribbean reef sharks are often present and add to the dive. Ocean triggerfish are sometimes seen, and dolphins have been seen here too.
