Swiss Drop is the drop-off area around the Cathedral, which is described as the best-known dive spot in Mauritius. The passage here is more accessible than at the Cathedral itself, and the maximum depth is shallower, at 23 metres.
It is a beginner dive and is convenient for the less experienced diver. The Cathedral next to it reaches 28 metres and combines caves with a chimney duct, while the Swiss Drop covers the wall section that surrounds it.
