The Tetons is a dive site on Namena's southern barrier reef in Fiji, with a maximum depth of 27 m. It is one of three similar sites there, with Two Thumbs Up and Mushrooms, and each consists of two pinnacles that rise from 60-90 feet (18-27 m) to 15 feet (5 m).
Pinnacles. The pinnacles are covered in fans and soft corals, which suit wide-angle photography. The bottom around them is littered with jawfish, shrimp gobies, fire dartfish, adhesive anemones and juvenile fish, and hundreds of garden eels cover the sandy floor.
The pinnacles have many nudibranchs and pipefish. Large coral trout hunt schools of paddletail snapper and are cleaned by cleaner wrasses. Cleaning stations near the tops hold hingebeak, jelly and humpback cleaner shrimp. At the very top, patches of turtle weed hold leaf gilled slugs, one of the most impressive nudibranchs.
